An ordinary guy. One extraordinary hit. The lessons that last.
Kevin R. Kehoe calls himself “an average guy,” but his life refuses to stay average. In thirty-seven true stories—sharp, funny, and unexpectedly tender—he traces the long road from Queens to boardrooms, from hard-earned wins to humbling losses, and from everyday missteps to moments that change everything.
Along the way, Kehoe builds a career on relationships and relentless drive—eventually helping launch what he calls an industry-leading software company—while learning firsthand how quickly triumph can turn, and how much character gets revealed when it does.
Then cancer arrives. Diagnosed with stage 4, he discovers the brutal overlap between business life and personal life—and the kind of courage that isn’t motivational-poster clean.
One Hit Wonder is a memoir about showing up, telling the truth, choosing your people wisely, and earning your “hit” the hard way—one decision, one story, one day at a time.
